Just took a cool photo of a building at UC Berkeley Campus

don't get a d100, it's totally outdated and discontinued now. The d70 is even slightly better than the D100 in a few points, where it'd be a better idea to get a used D70s. The price for the D100's aren't worth it at all right now.

They are good cameras though, so if you have a great opportunity, go for it, but you'll have just as good of time using a D70s. So if you're actively looking for a D100, I'd say look for a D70s instead. Probably save a bit too. Otherwise I"d recommend the D80 which is basically a D200 without a ton of fluff (fluff which very few people would every use/ know how to use / have the $$ for equipment to actually use).

Maybe you can give the D70 of mine to Rich, Art? Then he can check it out. I see him a lot more then I see you :) And his schedule is far more open then yours :)

That would work just fine! I have the D100 sitting on my desk right now to try out, but no time!

Art, you around Alameda any time soon?

oh, i was just there two days ago, doh! I went by Steve's NAA, it looks like someone bought the entire stock though! wow =)

D100 for $400, that's a good enough deal to take =) How is it so far?

I may be free part of saturday... though not sure yet =X I'll update this thread again later this week. Sorry, my schedule is pretty ugly right now. doh.
