Keeping Anemones in one place

I was wondering if there is a way to make anemones not move around in a tank without hurting them. :~

Keep them happy? Even then, they're prone to moving... Isolated rock surrounded with only sand might keep some in place

Short answer is no, long answer depends on type of nem, condictions of tank, placement, flow, lighting etc.....

I just got mine to settle down in the new tank after it moved around for a week. I used some of the nano hydor pumps to get it to stay out some areaS. I had to make sure it had a nice hole to secure it's foot.

I was thinking of keeping a mini carpet anemone or another type of tiny anemone but I am pretty sure I only one anemone in my tank.
