I had a very weird thing happen in my prop tank.
I got a frag of pink Seriatopora, and set it down in the tank a couple inches away from a super healthy blue green tenuis(?) mini colony.
Here's a pic of the acro.
The next morning, the acro had RTN'd and there was nothing left except a white skeleton
I ran across this reference on Seriatopora:
"To compete with other corals for space, these corals have short stinging sweeper tentacles and produce toxic substances in their immediate area to intimidate neighbors. Though they can hold their own territory and out-compete peaceful corals, they may still lose a battle with a more aggressive coral."
Is this what happened?
Anybody ever see this before?
