After keeping freshwater tanks for over 5 years Neocaridina Shrimp are one of the most amazing freshwater animals ever!
1. They are cheap and easy to get (P.S I breed them so you can get them in the BST forum from me!)
2. Small tank size need
3. They look awesome and will breed in a good tank with special care!

This is a tread for anyone who is thinking about getting Neocaridina Shrimp but wants more knowledge!
Please ask questions because after all that's why I created the thread!

You certainly can order from them but shipping is incredibly expensive. From $42 if you order 1 item to $80+ if you order several items. I personally vouch for an amazing LFS, Infinite Aquarium or you can order from me and I can ship for $5-15 extra.

oh, let me know what you have. And how much etc. Where are you shipping them from?
I'll ck out the lfs as well. I was going to order most of my fish online so I can get what I want and frankly, don't trust a lot of the local fish stores for healthy fish and I'm not going to quantine. My belief with the saltwater was to feed good, used garlic and vitamins with new fish and let their immune systems get strong. Only once in my first SW tank did I get velvet and it was a newbie mistake of too many new fish at once. In the 125 and then 220 never had ick or anything. In fact, lost more fish in quarantining.

I have always had a good experience with Infinite, and no diseases/illnesses. I am in Campbell, CA but would recommend checking out Infinite since I typically don't do orders through forums anymore.

When I have them available I usually have 10-20 per type at a time. Fire Reds $5 each and Ocean Blue Shrimp $12 each since they are bred by me and good quality.

I'll check out the lfs. Not as far as the one in San jose--brain blanked on name!! I'll also ck with you when I'm ready for shrimp. If they are young, I want them as one of the first in the tank in order to grow.. I have my stocking list split into 5 batches I think so shrimp, oto and betta are first, along with a few tetras and corys from current tank.
