New WTF in Fuge......Really...what is it?

Under the red thing is an astrea crawling up the side of the fuge. The fuge is a HOB and I can't get to what ever this is to see if it's plant or animal. Looks cool and creepy at the same time. Ideas?

BTW - it looks more black in the pic but is actually a deep burgundy with lighter burgundy veins.

My thought too....but there's a bit of current in the fuge and this is not moving...... it looks very stiff/solid and is growing in a rosette. Oh well...the snail has disappereared back into the rock work and macros. Perhaps someday it will reappear.
