Petco aquatics sale

Did they have one last year? I don't think they did.. I was waiting for them to have a sale last year but got different info everytime I went there.
 
They had the sale around this time but last year they did on the 20long and regular 30 so I grabbed couple 30's
What's weird is they charged me full tax on the ~$70 regular price !! Most places if not all, charge the tax based on the actual final price.
I'm shooting for them to have the 40 breeders on sale this time; I wrote customer service but no response.
Maybe and just maybe they will have it again on most regular tanks as they did two years ago due to this economy.
I've seen a new brand to me at AC, Aquarium Masters. They are nice looking tanks with beveled and polished edges plus a five year warranty, no 40 breeders.
If anyone spots the aquatic sale let us know since there might be a few looking for a recession proof deal.
One thing is that Pet-Club matches advertised prices just bring the ad.
I'll keep my eyes open on the sale.
 
Aquarium Masters used to a be a SUPER CHEAP aquarium in terms of both quality and price. The store I used to work at would buy them by the truckload knowing we'd get a few bad ones but they were so cheap it didn't matter if a few got tossed in the trash. I can't speak for them in the last 10 or so years though...things change :)
 
I've searched my old e-mails and seems Petco has the sale by the 3rd or 4th week of this month based on the previous years e-mails 07-08

I'm shooting for a 40 breeder, couple of them actually I'll be making a stand for a 70G peninsula in the upcoming week and I want the sump to be as big as possible, since it has about the same foot print as the 70G
