Hi all,
I’ve decided to do this as a PIF due to the stand and light rack needing to be sanded and refinished. It’s a bit of a project but the bones are good, as they say. Being a supporting member in good standing is needed to take the tank home. If you’d like to spare me some frags once the new tank is set up it would be appreciated
The tank is an Ultum Nature Systems UNS 90U (low iron glass and 45 degree beveled seams) that I drilled for a medium Eshopps overflow. It’s about 5-6 yrs old with a couple light scratches on the front glass. Dimensions are 36”x22”x22”. The stand is welded box steel I had made for it when the tank was freshwater. There’s a starboard floor with wooden supports to hold the sump weight. If I’d thought about it I’d have sealed the stand better before I converted it to saltwater. DOH!
The light rack is just black iron pipe screwed together and painted that mounts to the wood I attached to the back of the stand with bolts.
If you’re interested please let me know. Pick up is in San Ramon and I can help loading it. 2 people is plenty.
