Been working on this project for the last few months trying to dial in the recipe. Finally got something to give consistent results but attempting one last alteration.

Hopefully we be having our own bacteria line soon! Yes it has already been made but as a researcher I personally like having my own product to know what exactly is in it.

I definitely run everything on my personal system first. This way if shit hits the fan it’s on my own stuff lol. But it’s been used for years and has been researched quite a bit but no one likes to share how they produce it (completely understandable) so it’s taken me a while and was ready to thrown in the towel.

No, for culturing it needs consistent heat but so far seems pretty shelf stable. But that is also one of the things I’ll have to work on.

I've been using on the setup of my new tank. No idea if it helps but man it smells like old farts!

Would love to see pre and post microbiome data and pre/post phosphate and nitrate numbers. I unfortunately did a water change in between.

Lol something that doesn’t smell like farts would keep the wives and signifanct others happy.

Otherwise many would be prevented or banned from using it by the boss. Not sure if the odor can be contained somehow.

My main tank is in my room funky stuff is a definitely no. I would get put out immediately.

Hahaha the smell only lasts a little. Do it when they leave the house or say you just cleaned the skimmer lol.

Sadly bacteria smells haha no way around that.

Did not get much interest when I put this out to the group exactly a year ago. I have used it extensively and even brewed my own with the Hydrospace kit. Stopped using it a while ago, and I am not sure there is a difference.

This is helpful! I know hydro has it where it can’t be resold so I had to problem solve it.

We need nutrient control in the systems at work so it was just to be a win win
