QT for Shrimp + Goby

Not looking forward to it, but once I am satisfied our big tank is stable after summer setback, I will select fish and try TTM. Ugh.
Question: What do you do with a commensal shrimp-goby pair? Take away the shrimp and put him in the destination tank alone while the fish goes thru quarantine? Hoping to add a pair to our clownfish tank.

I've always wondered what people do with the pair as well. I guess theoretically the shrimp needs to be QTd separately until he molts.

Seems like you could do them together.
Just add sand to the TTM.
Fresh new sand each transfer. Wash/bleach/dry the old sand before re-use.
But I have never tried, so not sure at all.

Ugh. I am not up for that. But I also do not want to endanger my 15-yr old clown pair.
