Nice catch! I was lucky to get a couple last weekend at Bodega. I hear the bites winding down, good that you got one today. Definitely not costco with that deep red flesh, the costco fish is a much lighter color.

If you walk past that nasty cooler of farmed salmon, there is wild salmon to be found at Costco. It's actually very good fish, I just served a up a bunch at my birthday bbq. It has the nice deep red color that should be expected from salmon.

Since we're sharing fish pics here's the biggest ones I got a picture of:

Con- yup. 3 generations fishing for 3 days- pulled in ~300lbs cleaned fish. Will trade salmon for frags :D

Jar Glad to hear there was a good bite somewhere. I've been hearing mixed reviews from all over the place.

Watermelon Apex.
But a buddy of mine caught his limit on herring behind a small flasher.
The main trick was that we fished deep. Right off the bottom.
If you fish in that area pay attention to the smallest boats (locals from Bolinas) and you will do well.
