Tank#1 - Pending- @Coral reefer
40 breeder?
36L×18Wx17H
47.69 gallons according to brs online volume calcaulator
This tank is side drilled with a baffle Pictured.
Tank#2
20gallon ?
24L 12.5 w 17h
22.08 gallons according to brs online
volume calcaulator
Both tanks were plumbed together as the sump for my new 210 gallon tank. The 40 gallon tank was connected to the 20 gallon tank with the baffle spout going into the smaller tank. There where several pumps also involved but how it was set up was way over my head.
The 40 gallon was a fuge basically, skimmer and return pumps where in the 20 gallon tank.
My recommendations if you consider it for budget build would be to use the 40 gallon peninsula style drill a second hole or use a over the top return under $15 on amazon and use the 20 gallon as a sump.
For the price of free you would have a 60 gallon system with adquate filtration. As a leg up for the compention. If this is indeed taken for the contest I maybe have other gears I'm willing to send with it as well.
Initial preference is same person takes both tanks. This stuff is in my garage so no major rush, until i get tired of looking at it.
