The ship that crashed into the Great Barrier Reef is owned by the same company (Cosco) that crashed a giant cargo ship into the Bay Bridge a couple of years ago, spilling tens of thousands of gallons of toxic bunker fuel and killing thousands of birds (and unknown numbers of fish).

It ruined the Sardine run. They were making a comeback up until then. I wonder if they'll ever recover now :(
