toadstool leather wet look?

Lately my toadstool has been looking like it’s wet or giving of a sweat wet look. Hasn’t been opening up lately and just looks like this in the picture. Could this be related the the cyano in the tank? (Currently being treated with chemiclean). Is it normal for toad to looks like that and have that wet look to it.

From the picture looks like you have chemiclean sitting on top of it. I would definitely blow that off of it with pipette or turkey baster, as well as if its directly on other corals. Leathers can look funny when they are ready to shed. They often Close up for days sometimes even 2 weeks or more. Once they start shedding I make sure they are getting some moderate flow to help them blow it off. I personally also make sure I have a bit of carbon running. (Wait till your done with chemiclean Treatment if you decide to use carbon)

After they shed they come back larger and more elegant. Fyi mine typically do this like every 3 months or so.
