Torch extension

I’ve been trying to figure out why my torches don’t have much polyp extension. They’re colored fine and get fed, but I don’t see the crazy long polyp extensions that I see some torches have.
They’re not in any direct flow from what I can tell and seem to get less violent flow than some of the videos I see

not sure if maybe my par is too high which might be causing it?

Aussie torch not as long and stringy as Indo torch. Maybe that’s it? Did they used to Be longer?

They’ve never been super long from what I can remember...didn’t think the difference was that drastic though

Maybe they're cristata torches?

Alternately, how long have you had them? My torch was pretty stubby for a while and took over a month to properly open.

I didn't really change the flow, and lighting was the same (130-ish PAR) between these two shots.

These torches have been in there for awhile, and they are for sure not the cristata torches...I’m thinking it might be too much par?

Check your alk, when I had high alk 10-14, torch were never fully happy extend.
