Triops

If anyone would like to try their hand at raising Triops, I have a tube of eggs from a female I raised a few years ago. Just tested and they are viable. Species is T. longicaudatus.

They are extremely easy to breed. They are freshwater and live for a few months in puddles that form after heavy rains, so they are extremely tolerant of any conditions. They live for around 1-3 months and eat literally anything. They have not evolved significantly for 300 million years and retain the same body plan they've had since the Devonian. They're called "triops" for having 3 eyes: 2 compound eyes and a central, more basic light-sensing eye.
