Well look what was in my sump......

At first I thought it was a small polyp colony of some kind, very pale from lack of light...then it moved. I think this was the critter that was eating one of my leathers. It would completly blend in with the thoses gills looking just like the polyps on the leather. Same colouration on the body as the leather too. It's a maricultured leather so the nudi could have come in on it. I do know that the leather was dipped in Coral Rx for the recommended time and dilution.

So is it safe to keep in the sump or put it out of its misery as the leather was its only food source?

Nice shots. Cute little guy.
My concern would be if it dies and gets chewed up by the return pump, does it release toxins.
Nice bright yellow - it might.

Doubtful given it's food source. The toxic ones are usually toxic due to diet and sarcos really aren't that toxic.

I'd ditch it. While you may not have any more sarcos, it may just lay some eggs and frags you may pass on may gain them as hitch hikers.

Yeah, the more I thought about it the more I was inclined to dispose of the little beastie. It is now getting a free tour of the Greater Vallejo Sewer System (tm).

I do have some concerns that Coral Rx didn't do it's job. Anyone with thoughts or other experiences with Coral Rx?

It's worked fine for me in the past. The nudi is rather large so it may just take more to kill it. Just goes to illustrate the need for both dipping and visual inspection :D
