What is this? Hitchhiking coral?

Anyone know what this is? sometime of clove polyp? they seem really small for clove polyps(less than a quarter inch in diameter) but they seem to be corals because they close up at night or when bothered.

Any ideas? Thanks!

i should add i've had this coral for probably 4 months but only saw these in the last month or so. haven't seen any anywhere else in the tank

You are correct. Cut them off with a band saw. Otherwise scrub off outside of tank.

Those suck, I’d get that rock out of your tank as soon as you can and clean every last one off.

I had some come in as a hitchhiker too...I super glued over the entire area that they were present and I haven't seen them since
