Off topic:
Having worked in a couple tier 1 automotive plants in the USA the systemic lack of care on the part of both the suppliers and the customers (mainly Ford, GM, FCA my case) leaves me amazed there's as much manufacturing still here as there is. On the flip side, they are selling exactly what we buy, so don't just blame them.

That's a pretty cool idea. I'm about to have to catch my fish and was planning to just install a door on my big acrylic acclimation box, but putting something like this together might be easier. In my case I think the remote would be a string on a mag float, but the idea is the same.

this is great but the $120 price tag for a box with a magnet seems a bit much. you could get one of those small fish bowls, add a magnet and voilà.
