I kill my Aptasia with aptasia X.

or use aptasia x if you ahve some on hand, i managed to accidentally melted my mushroom this way with kalk paste

Try prying them off at the base and as safety precaution, wear gloves and don’t remove them all at once, you don’t want a chemical warfare release.

I've scraped them before. They just grow back.

Unfortunately not.

Hmmmm, that’s a bummer...
How about scraping off and at that spot use some kalk paste? Just few at a time, you don’t want kalk to shoot pH to the roof.

what about covering them with something so they die from no light? maybe put an upside down frag plug right on top of the mushroom. haha

I chip off with bone cutters. Scraping will not work. May make it easier to eradicate with chemicals tho.

I agree with Mike. Only success I have had is to cut the rock at the base of each shroom and remove. Otherwise it will just grow back.
