So I'm pretty new here and new to the hobby again. Long, long ago I had a 100 gallon FOWLR tank. This is my first attempt at keeping corals.
After years of wanting one I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Biocube 16 led. I've had it up and running fully cycled since about the beginning of March.
Tank parameters:
Kh: 9.9
NH3: 0
Ca: 430
NO2: .05
NO3: 10
PO4: .03
SG: 1.025
Temp is solid around 79.

For livestock I have a clownfish, a pajama cardinal and a lawnmower blenny. I also have two peppermint shrimp (who are assholes that constantly piss me off), a conch, 4 hermits and a bunch of snails.
Corals I have a duncan, some gsp, two different zoas( I forget what kind) lemon lime Favia, pipe organ and meteor shower Cyphastrea.

A friend told me I should try reef roids but after two weeks of that i had a gnarly cyano outbreak. I had to do a 3 day blackout to get rid of that. Since then my Favia has been a bit dull. He's starting to make a comeback.

I also had a major overheating issue with this tank. No matter where I set the thermostat it would sit at around 83°. So I bought a $20 fan from bed, bath and beyond and mounted it on the wall behind it. Since then its stayed steady between 78-79.

What equipment do you use for top off? It’s been pretty warm the last two weeks and evaporation is pretty crazy. To maintain 79 on this weather is a lot of evaporation.

So I just cleaned all of the algae off of my rocks and did some major changes with the rock work. Will take pics when it clears up a bit.
