Is the front left one from defugium corals? If so I was eyeing that. Think he said avengers.

Damn! Bummed I missed another one of these. Between work schedules and wife schedules it just hasn't been working out. Next time! Sounds like lots of cool finds and good deals.

Two vendors had the same looking coral, purple base with bright green polyps, with similar growth patterns. One was labeled garf bonsai and the other was not. My guess is a lot of corals with this appearance are labeled as garf if the specific genealogy is not known.

For what’d it worth I have a large coral that is tabling and looks just like this and I’m not even sure if it’s garf bonsai lol

The guy told me it was Garf bonsi not sure with my limited knowledge to know the difference beyond what I was told; beautiful colony by the way.

So I’m gonna say something that is true but we don’t think about it. So. Theirs is only so many species and variance of a certain coral in the brudestock In mariculture. Since it’s cities permitted. It’s technically only aquaculture when in captivity when the mariculture can not be identified anymore. So it maybe 1000 pieces or more could be less could be more. The strains are very similar. A lot of times I’ve gotten different corals from mariculture when I received them. Then when they settle in. They turn the same color and whatnot. A lot of the corals we have are manipulated by water chemistry and led light. Since we can not collect wild anymore. Things are technically limited.
