Sounds like an easy way to add volume/space. It’s not the prettiest or everyone’s cup of tea, but I like the quirky diy stuff. I say do it, but I’m also the guy that just turned a 2.5gal trash can into some kind of filter…maybe call it SOSAT, sits on shelf above tank? lol.
