Would make sense, I've been slowly removing crushed coral sand and replacing them with finer sand. I've got a ton of sand dust floating in there. Plan for today 20% water change and clean clean clean. Thanks for all the advice!

I do have one fish that is missing, maybe it’s dead somewhere and causing the bloom. I pointed both my return spouts towards the water surface to create a lot of agitation. We’ll see if that helps. Thanks for the tip!

It's been a while since I've inspected my sump system, maybe its time to look everything over and find where the bubbles may be coming from. Thanks for the tip!

Where was the microbubbles coming from and how did you fix it?

It's not stinky or colored or anything like that, just a very thin layer of bubbles. And yes I do have a protein skimmer in the sump. Do i need to agitate the water surface more? Turn up my powerheads? Any thoughts?

I like the chalk bass, unfortunately they are currently out of stock at ora.

That's also my hope, that once my euphillias and other corals mature that they'll come out of their back corners.

I've heard so much good stuff about High Tide but I've actually never been, only because I'm so far from oakland. But I think it's time for me to make that trip. I'll do more research on the fairy wrasses. Also the banggai (and pajamas) are kind of growing on me, will need to do more research...

Damsels are definitely on my list, but they have a reputation of becoming jerks and are very hard to catch when they do lol. But i guess you cant have the perfect fish. I guess I'd be open to banggais.. i don't personally like the look of the pajamas.
