Sorry, it may have not been clear in post. I wasn't expecting it to be 25 dkh but I read somewhere that I should be targeting 25 dkh. Given that, does that mean I should either increase the PH in the reactor or increase flow rate?
I recently switched over from dosing 2 part to a calcium reactor and need a bit of help. The setup is a Kamoer STP2, Carbon Doser, and Aquamaxx T-3.
Right now I am having the Carbon Doser set at 10 PSI with a bubble rate of 1 bubble every 6 seconds. The Kamoer is set at 20 ml/min. I also have...
It was 300. I really need to make room so I can bring it towards the front of the tank and under more light.
I'm thinking about fragging it at some point given how much real estate it takes up
Picked up a few corals:
the large pink/orange/teal wilsoni colony was hard to pass up
Pink highlighter and two other tenuis I can't rem the names of
got an amazing deal on this OG bounce because it's loose. opens up to about the size of a quarter
also picked this up from Wine Country...
Thanks everyone for your input. @Srt4eric swung by yesterday and apparently one of the nuts was extremely loose. He helped tighten all bulkheads and provided spare gaskets. I'm going to wait and see if the tightening fixed the leak, otherwise I will replace the gaskets and apply silicone.
Thank you everyone for your advice and appreciate this video Randy. I think my leak is coming from the bulkhead that connects the overflow box to the tank.
@Srt4eric has offered to come by to take a look at the tank and help tighten the bulkhead. Will keep everyone posted
I believe the leak is coming from the bulkheads that connect the overflow to the tank. I’ll try to tighten it with a basin wrench tomorrow.
Wouldn’t changing out the bulkhead be extremely difficult given I have only 6 inches of room behind the tank and it’s a 5 foot tank?
