Open a window!Hello,
I finally did and ICP analysis on my tank, but honestly not sure what to do with the results. Any thoughts?

Yes my response was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Why test for PH at all, especially for a sample that spends so much time in transit? The ICP has to be read from top to bottom and addressed accordingly. There are quite a few things to look into, @dangalang touched on some of them. Text me if you want.
@derek_SR gets one point for spotting salinity. He missed that the sample was (at least) two weeks in transit - although nothing wrong with opening the window. It will just not help with this ICP.
Which ICP do you like to use?Yes my response was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Why test for PH at all, especially for a sample that spends so much time in transit?
Better question, why even use a testing service that takes 2 weeks to get results in the first place (and doesn't supply a shipping label)?![]()
Need to think bigger. Their lab is testing 600-800 samples daily. Most are around 5 days, within Germany, it seems to be 1-2 days on average, folks with normal shipping time like that they test it (not me, I am depressed when I see these values).Yes my response was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I’ve got an FM ICP sitting around you can have. I think I won it in the photo contest. You gotta send me a prepaid label to ship it to you, though!Need to think bigger. One of my journal updates a few days ago discusses the long shipping times - and how to resolve them - and that their tests now supply a prepaid shipping label (they had a shipping label in their box for some time, just not prepaid).
I agree that two weeks is too long, so this needs to come down. I had several tests in 8 days. Claude thinks it can be done in 5-6 days, but I think this will need to be seen. I will test this out shortly. Most likely shipping to Louisiana on Monday morning. I am not a fan of Triton, and a lot of this is based on how much you trust the company you are working with to give you the most reliable results.
Triton - takes 4 days usually. I’ve got no reason not to trust the results, at least as far as any ICP can really be “trusted.” They are consistent and predictable enough based on my inputs - I got a lanthanum result after overdosing lanthanum, and see traces go up or down roughly based on my actions, for example. Good enough for me!Which ICP do you like to use?

That is funny.

It tells you what you what you want to hear. Everything is green. That worries me.
I could not care less about the ranges or recommendations of any company selling things, Triton or FM, so that aspect is irrelevant for me. If you worship at the church of Claude you may prefer FM’s recommendations though, etc
Of course, I just choose not to worship at any one specific church that's in the business of selling me thingsIf you did you would not use cheatogrow aka reef fertilizer. Everyone worships their reef church. You do it too.
