New to BAR & the West coast!

Hi all!

New to Bay Area Reefers and the west coast! Just moved from NYC to Santa Cruz area with my wife and kid, 3 leopard geckos, a bunch of plants and my coral too . I am really looking forward to meeting local reefers/ aquarium enthusiasts and getting a new setup going! Looking at a Waterbox 190 or 230 reef and maybe a discus tank

The apartment was a cool set up. My little lab I called it.

That’s the pacific reef tank at the Waikiki aquarium and it’s Jake Adams face! Im not that self absorbed…I don’t think

Nice!! How long have you been on this coast?
I was in Astoria, Queens for 8yrs or so. Food is definitely fire in NYC, I miss the diversity already. I hear San Fran has good food too but I’m down south in Santa Cruz area, it’s not comparable in the slightest.

7 years in California for me! Thats nice my buddy lives in Astoria. Nothing beats how diverse NYC is when it comes to food and people! Hope to meet you in person some time, im sure we would have some great conversations related to back home! If you’re ever in SF shoot me a message!

Giovanni pizza, biochik bagels fill that need
It’s the corned beef, pastrami, lox that I can’t get here
