I saw a bunch of people come back from reefstock with some of Julian Sprung’s stunted mangroves and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get one other than going to events that Julian is at? I figured he probably only gives them away at shows. Anyways I have a bunch of mangroves growing out and would love to add one. I think people have been calling them jalapeno mangroves. So far I have a few from alage barn and 5 of Julian’s red mangroves (ones in bottom left) that I got at Kenny’s last cocktails and corals talk. The goal for them now is to grow them out and keep the 3 best growers. Probably a long shot, but I thought I would ask!

Nice mangroves! I've been trying to grow some as well. @MichaelB was kind and gave me some. I think the Red variant. The stalk is getting a bit soft so need to see how to prevent it.

If you somehow arrange to buy some of the jalapeno mangroves from Julian I'd be down to join and split the shipping cost with you.

I’d also jump on that too

I've never had long term success with mangroves in saltwater. Mine are currently in brackish and they've all been doing well except for one that got a random disease recently. Once I plant them I try not to move them so I don't break any roots
