Given the rainy weather, I will be removing two larger pieces between 7-10 inch in length from these two colonies.

The sunset in particular is highly encrusting and should be positioned VERY carefully and not like I did in some prominent spot where it is in continuous competition with other corals, often seemingly winning.

The red monti was a 1 inch frag which grew into this 15+ inches in diameter monster in the past couple of years, shading everything underneath (another legacy mistake I made). The fish love to hide under both of them, so not too bad but still some of my bigger regrets - I might have to replace these rocks at one point (…….).

Ready to pick up today at Walnut Creek, can be cut into smaller sizes, but I cannot keep them longer than today.

These were the cuts, some of them almost impossible to break up.

I keep them until tomorrow (in a box in the sump), but will throw them away afterwards. There is also a Manila spy pieces and I believe some rainbow acro piece, forgot the name as the main colony had to be tossed, since it was almost completely kept in the dark due to shading effects from the montis for months.

Yeah I would love some! My tank has been a bit touch and go so I’m mainly wanting to add coral people are trimming/getting rid of. If either of you will be at swap I can grab then otherwise all good happy to pick up or meet some other time/place
