Yeah. This genus is definitely the last fish you want to add. They are brutal to new comers.

They should eat nori mysis and anything you feed them. Hopefully you got a 6ft tank.

They are a tang so lots of seaweed primary diet to keep them healthy.

i have a 200 gallon, 6 by 2.5 ft, i wouldn't have picked him up now that i've done the research but lessons learned, he's in there with 5 yellows and they seem to be alright thus far, i keep 2 separate nori feeding stations going and feed pe mysis, mix of pellets, etc twice daily

I've had luck with something called seaweed extreme pellets in addtion to tdo pellets. Even my non herb fish will est some including my puffer. I had to get the medium size pellets from online for the larger fish. Though they would eat the small size. Some of the tangs/ dwarf angels eat tdos but my yellow refuses them all together, he does go crazy for seaweed extreme l, frozen mysis and Roe eggs.

Biota also feeds their tangs tdo pellets I read somewhere so kinda weird he doesn't touch them. Maybe burnt out on them lol.
