Lets see the awesome frags you guys got. Honestly I was only expecting to take one frag home but there were so many torts! Very unusual! I had to re-glue a new plug on all corals due to invasive algae found on all the plugs. I recommend everyone do the same. Also found a few baby asterinas hitched to the plugs. Highly recommend everyone dip and get rid of the plugs the coral comes with unless its a fresh cut and newly glued. Thanks for the event, thanks for food, the drinks and ice, and thanks for picking up the dim sum!

oregen tort - bottom left
Immortal Tort - rear left on the round plug
blue tort - bottom right
cali tort? - right rear
myagi tort - center rear

Which BTAs do not play well together in terms of chemical warfare in the same tank? I have a couple of common rainbows but would love to try a higher end BTA like a CSB.
Do your self a favor and don't mix them. Especially common with high end ones.

I did it in my nem tank. 4 different types of nems and last added a Colorado. It worked well for maybe 6 months no issues than I guess the warfare started. I can't say the Colorado died but the majority of them morphed and they are very hard to impossible to tell apartm with the exception of 2 types that were drastically different in color. The Colorado could be alive or it could be dead. I haven't been able to see a difference in any of the base color orange/red nems since 4 months ago.

I recommend sticking to one type. From my limited experience. In some cases certain nems can indeed kill each other with chemical warfare even if it happens over time. It's nothing that happens overnight just a one day unexpectedly ouch situation.

I’ve only kept csb’s in my tank, and they’ve done very well.

Also hi everyone, I joined last week so this was my first frag swap. It was a very nice event!
Hopefully you had a good time?
Welcome to the club.

Let me know next time you have a extra of those nems maybe we could work out a deal/ trade of some kind in future.

I saw it at the swap but was beat to it by like 3 seconds.

Maybe it's time to pay my rainbows forward and get one like @Rchris123's! :D

Also picked up this nice Chicago anemone from @nly04. He says he has it mixed with a CSB using carbon, so I'll try keeping them together but keep a close eye on their health.
