Not too much…assuming there’s roughly 25% loss from head pressure, you’re only doing ~1500gph - 10x tank turnover. That’s not a crazy amount.

Mount to a small rock or rubble that fits where you want it to be on your scape, then outside the tank mount the colony on the small rock/rubble with super glue (epoxy is optional) and use a super glue accelerator. Then glue the small rock/rubble to the scape.

While I would never get anything but glass (probably) for my display tank, I love having 3/4” or 1” acrylic for a 12” or less frag tank. I find myself leaning on it more often than I should and I would never do it that on glass.
