Fish stocking list looks fine, all small fish, most with specific areas they like, and reef safe.

How to limit unwanted coral growth

Was going to suggest this too, it's the only way I can get rid of digis!

    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

It's a large structure currently in Kenny's sump so might be hard to transport unless you're coming down to the Mountain View area sometime. Plus I need to go into @Kensington Reefer's yard for others, but I'm pretty sure his stairs would take my leg clean off haha.

    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

Progress is slow due to my injury, but thanks again to @derek_SR and Kessil for helping me with the A360XE light mount. Finally get to use the raffle winning light! It's up here temporarily while I figure out hardware, rocks, etc. I've been ghost feeding and added one trochus snail from my main...

IM SR60 - back after a long hiatus

Clam farms use small amounts of ammonium nitrate but if you're not testing regularly you could potentially wipe out your fish. See if the dip helps first.

IM SR60 - back after a long hiatus

Ok do the dip then and hopefully it opens up back for you. Check for pyramidellid snails as well. Good luck! They also prefer to take up ammonia as a nitrogen source so more fish might be ideal given how low your nitrate levels are and the rapidly increasing coral list.

IM SR60 - back after a long hiatus

What is your fish stocking list, just the clown and chromis? Otherwise it not opening up is a very bad sign and the fact it doesn't look like it's adding shell means it's probably on death's door. You'll want it to be under at least 250 PPFD too. Your next best bet is if it isn't attached...

Kessil customer service is the best!

Can't say enough about the customer service at Kessil! I emailed Brendan yesterday about needing a bracket for the Kessil A series gooseneck gifted to me from @derek_SR . Today I get the whole bracket kit in the mail: If you're considering getting new lights or going with ceiling track...

Is the clam growing new shell under the mantle? A little worried how closed up it is for you.

    Bubblegum Digi Green Tips

Mine gets about 250-300 PPFD, but my phosphate is a good 10x higher and I'd consider those to be ULN (what do your nitrates look like?) Lots of flow, stable alkalinity and it's a damn weed. I literally smash pieces off to put into extra cups for the swaps and let my acropora kill it when they...

How has everyone’s corals from the swap been doing?

Yeah that's the Copp's Calacali, totally different species https://battlecorals.com/products/copps-calacali-acro

How has everyone’s corals from the swap been doing?

I get a lot of green in mine too on the base and some polyps that's indicative of the Cali tort: I'll need to get a piece of Oregon from @derek_SR and put it side by side

Tom's upcoming Waterbox Marine 90.3 Mixed reef

So thinking about it again, I think I figured out why your CO2 and alk numbers were insane and not measuring on your kits. The AFR in the tube you sent in likely metabolized by the bacteria in the sample until they ran out of oxygen, and any remaining AFR (calcium formate) got burned up in the...

I don't know why so many things are wildly out of spec, especially alkalinity. How do the numbers compare to your kit testing?
