If you can find a way to chisel a small chunk of the rock out, that is what I would recommend. Alternatively, you can try and peel it off of the rock but getting it to re-attach can be a big pain. If you do that, you can 1) throw it in a mushroom box with some rubble, 2) cover it with tulle on...
