I also heard of people using the red and green monticap in calc reactors when they can't give them away. I think they are cool for me it's too much space they take up in my tanks.

I only did a corrective dose, I didn't continue to add it afterwards being there is only hammers and nems in this tank.

I split the alk dose in half. It was a cheap Amazon ph tester so I wouldn't argue on quality or accuracy. I figured it was better than nothing at all for a general idea of ph.

I was considering placing it in the sump of the tank. In black out conditions in the stand. I could also do a different container as well. Only hold up is getting my butt into gear and finishing fusing it together with the mortar.

Not any major issues just trying to get things dialed in. My Main tank is doing awesome.
