    Live Brine Shrimp storing

I used to put them on a large salad bowl ( with a lot of surface area) in the fridge. Can’t remember how long they last, but easily 3-4 days if not more. Don’t buy live brine anymore

Folks that run outside air for the skimmer. Do you run the line through a window ie open a small crack ? Drill a hole on the wall? How to get a line to the outside?

    First Reefing adventure.. 65G AIO

Update on the new addition Both Multibar seems to settle in. Start exploring the tank but I suppose the high flow still intimidating to the tiny fish. Picking on the rocks and appear to be well fed. I feed 3x a day via avast plank with a combination of freeze dry mysis , small pellets and...

    Hi everyone!

I would go not cheap on an ato. Just my opinion. Failure can cause not only tank crash but probably water damage in your house. I have good luck with tunze in the last 3 years.

BRS brand media. I only started 3 days ago, and looking at it just now, no change in color yet. I’ll remember to add a teaspoon of water a week. I added it during initial setup.

    Co2 scrubber overated?

I can agree with that. I have an AIO with limited space for skimmer. That’s the largest capacity skimmer I could fit in the back chamber. I have plenty of pump pointing to the surface.

    Co2 scrubber overated?

Bought a BRS co2 scrubber when it went on sale on the 4th July week. Installed it over the past weekend. I assumed I have co2 issue thus the scrubber. Well, the results is pretty unimpressive. Maybe 0.1ph rise at most. Ph went from 7.9x to 8.0x I read it’s more efficient when you have a...

The Money Pit: How much are you willing to spend on livestock?

I’m usually a cheap guy. Before this my max price is less than $100 per item, until I pony up for the Multibar angelfish.

They are hiding in the main tank now. I’ll get some pictures when they get comfortable with the new surroundings and start venturing out. I also got 6 peppermint shrimp to get free shipping. Man they are tiny . Hope the bristle worms don’t chom them down.

Yeah, biota specifically advise against drip. Float the bag and that’s it.
