    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

All really good info...I got alot of research to do on EVs before I make that jump...the usual "I swear I got it off the forum for $50" won't fly with that one, but im sure since we have a little one around again it would make for good justification..."it's for the baby" seems to be a more...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

I'm thinking long term this is my goal...I like the idea of pulling from the EV like you and @richiev mentioned..it may be time for me to part with my V8 and go with a Tesla.. After the all the feedback on the thread, I'm on the hunt for the biggest ecoflow I can fit..and although running off...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

I recall him mentioning it on an episode of reefbeef, but not too much was said...their recent episode featuring the ecoflow is what got me looking into it more..ill check those out tho...thx!

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

Thank you for the insightful info...drilling a hole in my house would require a permission slip to get signed off by the wife and I didn't think it would fare well despite the cost savings...we just got our roof done a couple years back, so drilling more up there might be the deal breaker...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

I looked into the Tesla power walls and had to come to terms that it was a huge cost that would have pushed my build back pretty far. Seeing that a cost analysis has been done on the cost per kWh relieves me from any regret in not doing so. I've seen ecoflow packages that include solar panels...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

I found your input to the convo very helpful and glad you chimed in. I think @JVUpost may have been misinterpreted, i don't think he meant it to have any sort of tone...just helping me course correct my original plan. Please, continue to chime in...its post like this that help me avoid...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

12" tall is alot smaller than I anticipated. I was thinking of using my extension box from my build to house the back up battery vs ato container. When designing it, I failed to realize that the front opening can not accommodate the opening of the IM drawer. With the space left after putting...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

You bring up a very good point. I planned on having a toggle switch for a feed mode which would shut off flow....with my current plans on hooking up the gyres to it, that may all be moot. I do have MP-40's that I have hooked up to the ecotech battery back up..if I were to hook up the battery...

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

Everytime I look into it I see the prices dropping. It'll come up on slickdeals or the new models come out, dropping the price of previous ones. For what we would be using it for, I think I may have to jump at it and pick one up...thanks for the heads up on the better deal!

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

Nice! This is what i was hiping it would do with the apex. I haven't experienced a long power outage where I live since the Napa fires, but, with your experience with it did the 10 hours fit your needs during the majority of the outtages you've been through?

    Boun's reef tank Journal

First in and last out! That's dope that you coach...my brother coached my sons teams..I didn't have the patience he had... I feel it...at one point my boys played CYO, NJB, and AAU...waking up at 5am on a Saturday morning to make it to Sacramento tournaments sucked..the Reno ones were cool tho

    Ecoflow battery w/ Apex EB832

Curious if anyone has had an Ecoflow, or any other back up battery, plugged into their EB832 as an emergency power source for equipment. In my case, I was thinking of having two gyres plugged into the ecoflow then have the ecoflow unit plugged into the EB832. In the event of a power outage...

    Boun's reef tank Journal

The frag tank is beautiful... My two older sons are 26 and 24..both played ball from 2nd grade throughout highschool...now they're out living their life traveling and living it up.. What I wouldn't give to attend a tournament with them playing again.. Skip the swap man..there will always be...

    Fresh off the boat!!!

Yea, there's double sided tape on the slim part that sits flat on the tank. Probably good for quick swaps, but nothing id want the dry side to sit in for an extended perion of time. I still plan on using the cable tie mounts in conjunction with these...paying for another dry side wouldn't be fun...

This might help...I plan on picking up a couple to try out for when I swap out my wet sides during maintenance

    Fresh off the boat!!!

Initial impressions on R2R seem positive, but I take slot of what I read on there with a grain of salt...I thought about picking one up to use in a water mixing station but the suction cups wont work well with the container i have in mind and ended up going with a gyre to sweep the salt from the...
