    BAYMAC 2011 - May 14 - Chabot College

Reviving the thread from dead, does anyone know who or might bought the Lemon Drop Anemone from one of the vendor's booth? I recalled seeing one when I came at 3:30pm, but it was already sold. Hopefully a BAR member bought it and can share some pics. Thanks, Rudy

WTB close valve for pvc pipes in grey color

Thanks for the fast response, Dave and John. Which one did you guys buy? There seems to be several types for PVC and CPVC Ball Valves. I don't think I need the double union since I have a 1" pipe. I will need the 1 1/2" inch ball valve. Thanks, Rudy

WTB close valve for pvc pipes in grey color

Hi All, I noticed that a lot of the close valve for PVC pipes that you use has a grey color. Where did you buy it? I have been to HomeDepot and OSH and so far they only have the white colored ones. Is this made different manufacturer and better quality? Thanks, Rudy

Using Granite Countertop (or similar materials) as a base for tank

Granite is just something that I thought about using to make it nice. I am already using plywood as the top of the stand. The foam (color black) is just to create a deeper look for the tank; I'm actually converting a frag tank into a shallow tank. I plan to stain the stand with oak/almond...

Using Granite Countertop (or similar materials) as a base for tank

Sorry, I meant to say using the counter top as the top of a stand. Gresham: Yeah, I see what you mean. Any uneven part will cause some bowing for the tank, right? Does is really necessary to have a foam above the stand prior to position the tank? I'm thinking about using one of the foam...

Using Granite Countertop (or similar materials) as a base for tank

Hi All, Just want to see if anyone has tried using a granite countertop (those used in Kitchen's countertop) as the bottom base of fish tank. I am in the process of building a fish stand when I suddenly thought about the countertop. It definitely looks nicer than regular plywood, but I'm...

75g Reef Tank - Progress (From Planning to Start-Up)

Nice job on the aquascaping and great looking tank. You can also drill some small holes on the rock and connect them using small pvc pipes or hard plastic tubes from TAPPlastic.
