    Kinetic ELOS 120XL

For the cost paid and the advertising of such a "premium" product I'd be asking for a full refund. Everything should have been test fitted prior to shipping, blemishes fixed, and damaged parts replaced. Any changes to the product specs from what you paid for should have been clearly outlined to...

RFC: Reefer 500 (and will become a build thread)

I'm loving my IM 112g INT. If you have pretty flat floors the stand is fantastic. Shimming was a PIA for me as the concrete under is not flat. Build quality on the tank is excellent. The IM Penninsula may be somewhat shallow but perhaps you could get creative with that footprint and do a semi...

    Child Proofing

Poor Shepherd. To be honest I'd run away from most 3 yr olds too

    Child Proofing

Get them as involved as you can and show them how fragile the critters are to get them interested in being careful. Alternatively get them a puppy to distract them

    Meshmez's IM 25 Lagoon

If it’s only an inch or 2 thick you could still siphon gunk out

    Meshmez's IM 25 Lagoon

All of @H2OPlayar's tanks use a crushed coral/rubble substrate and he has at least one journal. Personally I'm a fan of it. Also love the colors on nems so I wish I had the space to do this as well. Thumbs up from me!

    Hello Everyone

Welcome! There are different schools of thought regarding ultra low or high nutrient tanks within the reefing hobby but your tank shouldn't be running zero nutrients. I would double check the expiration dates on your test kits and replace if needed. If your results are still at zero, you'll...

    Weirdest fishy thing yet

If the coral is small enough I might be able to use a spare pump intake guard

    Weirdest fishy thing yet

Unfortunately I can't really prevent it if I'm gluing frag plugs to the rockwork

I guess I'm now part of the Ichthyodental community along with you LOL

    Weirdest fishy thing yet

This is probably the weirdest fish keeping story I’ll ever have to relate to anyone even with another 10 or 20 years of keeping reefs or freshwater. Thus it is a must share. I was lucky enough to pick up @Holly94583’s Copperband Butterfly from her this last weekend. Extremely healthy fish from...

What are you looking out for @ CFM?!

SJ Reef has some OG Bounce at the store and in the owners tanks ranging from $250 to $5-600

    Getting rid of lettuce algae?

One spot Foxface cleared up mine. If you have the space the Foxface Lo I had was a slightly better algae muncher.

    Eric's Frag tank!!!

This isn't the only post I've seen regarding the accuracy of their testing after I bought 4 on sale. I haven't used any yet but it doesn't give me much confidence I'll get what I paid for.

Smart Outlet that can be set by the seconds?

I have had my Kasa turn the tank lights on in the middle of the night a couple times.
