I hear ya, but I’ve been struggling with this frag tank for a few years. I’m just going to let this all run its course. Originally I was going to dose amoxi but now I’ve kinda hit my limit with it. Hopefully things start thriving and become resistant to it.

Ohh agreed with that. It is one of I think 6 bacteria associated with the pathogen but that’s all I’ve ever found. I am recalling the “6” off the top of my head, so that would need to be fact checked.

Yea, typically. The frag tank is much less daily, but the bioload is also 1/10th of the big tank.

I’ll post the frag tank skimmer when I get home to show you what is should look like. Won’t be for a few hours.

When the skimmer is working properly I pull about a half gallon of skimmate a day from the heavy bioload.

There are two “layers” where the top is milky white and the bottom has a grey tint. Then this happens my skimmer stops producing skimmate for days.

I’ll try cleaning it again.
