+1 on the nori. I like to feed LRS frozen foods. Try the herbivore blend that they make. I think neptune has some right now. Also try to vary up the diet a little. I avoid flake foods at all costs. The only pellet food I feed is PE mysis pellet since it doesn't contain garlic.

The 200 is more than big enough for your system. You won't regret this purchase! It is an amazing skimmer. + You get bragging rights! We want pictures once it comes in!!!

I still vote Alpha The 200 would be more than enough for your tank size. They are very underrated when it comes to the volume they can handle. They have very large diameter necks. Directly from slief on reef central: The Alphas have a very large neck diameter and tend to be very inconsistent...

Yeah I like my Alpha Great skimmer. I cant even hear it if my stand is open. As mentioned before very effective and pulls a ton of gunk

I have a Vertex alpha 170 on my 150 and I love it. Super quiet and pulls a lot of gunk. I would avoid the Nyos skimmers... IMO - They feel really cheap and flimsy. They do a decent job at skimming but there are definitely better skimmers out there for the price.

People buy water to put it in their tanks. :) HTH I also find NSW to be much dirtier than a fresh mix. Last time it rained the water was super dirty/yellow/brown due to all the runoff. Ill buy small amounts every now and then for ttm when I run out of my fritz mix. I never use it in my display...
