Thanks for the suggestions! One thing I'm suspecting is the MP10 I recently bought (used). When I got it, the wet side was rattling. So, yesterday I decided to take it apart and give it a thorough inspection, but it seems to be alright. However, I think I'll still go ahead and replace it.

I added first dose of Cipro yesterday, and all the zoa colonies that have been closed for more than a month are already looking better. I have a feeling that the ICP test results will be normal. Fingers crossed!

I changed 90% of the water twice, but all the corals and invertebrates were still dying. I moved some of the damaged corals to my son's 10-gallon tank, and they seemed to be bouncing back. However, as soon as I did a water change in his tank, all the corals and invertebrates started dying again...

Not really. It went through a lot of shedding, but all of the other corals were just fine.

Do you know what the downside would be when you use it continuously (plugged into an outlet 24/7)? I am looking into getting a smaller version with around 700wb. :)

That sounds really good. Mp10 uses 8 to 18w, so the battery will last much longer, maybe like 40 plus hours.

So, will it turn on and provide electricity to the pump automatically while I am away? And for charging it, do you always leave it plugged in all the time?

Thanks. My tank is still running with a canister filter so the level won't be dropped. I guess I can raise the mp10 as high as possible just before sucking too much air right before the vacation.
