$900 for a LCD replacement (15.4" Macbook pro with touch bar)

Our 15.4" Macbook pro (with touch bar) has a cracked LCD, it only shows a black screen. We called a place and they said it would cost about $900. Ouch! Does anyone know a good place for the LCD replacement? Thank you

Updates 10/31/22 The toadstool coral is so big today! I want to keep this one as long as I can but I don't know how much longer I can keep it. Water parameters are looking good. For phosphate, I have been dosing 0.02ppm daily for about 3 weeks (via top-off reservoir) and it looks like...

What do you think about this RODI water top-off setup?

Thanks for the tip. I think an external top-off reservoir can be great since you can mix it with PO4, NO3, amino acid etc without an additional dosing pump. This is what I put into my external top off reservoir weekly.

I will need to add a separate layer. : ) You can call it Pisa sometime next year! Very cool idea. I think it could work with a staghorn acro skeleton.

What do you think about this RODI water top-off setup?

The pressure tank prevents frequent on-and-off of action of the mechanical solenoid valves (also noisy) but it might not be necessary. You mean something like this one right? I like how small it is!

Hi Tankguy If you don't mind covering the back side of the tank, one or two Aquaclear 110 with a small heater and media will be easier to maintain (vs canister filter) . :)

What do you think about this RODI water top-off setup?

I know I won't be upgrading my setup anytime soon but wanted to prepare for the future. What do you guys think about this auto top off setup? - (update) this setup feeds rodi water directly to the sump - The valve on the pressure tank needs to be adjusted to prevent too much pressure to the DI...

Since favia is an encrusting coral, I created this stackable 3d printed ball that can grow with the coral without being an eyesore. The picture on the far right is showing the coral on the first layer. Hope I get a beautiful ball-shaped favia in a year. :)

Thank you. Now I just need to seat back and watch them grow since there is not much space left to put more corals. :)

Got some beautiful and very large SPS frags/colonies from @jhuynh and @H2OPlayar !! Water parameters in the picture. PO4 is on the high side but the corals look colorful and healthy. No3 is very high, waiting to get a good anaerobic bacteria population which takes a long time.

inconsistent results from Hanna 774 phosphate tester.

I think it is good enough to keep a healthy reef. Just feel slightly uncomfortable using this in the long run. :)

inconsistent results from Hanna 774 phosphate tester.

After work, I performed 3 tests today with a dedicated regent for each test. Has anyone tried this? Test method: Shaked vigorously 50 times and waited for the microbubble to disappear. Same cuvette direction. Cleared with a soft dry towel. The result: Still getting inconsistent results as I got...

The first prototype was too small and the closed bottom was not circulating aerated water. The pic below is the revised version with the completely open bottom. The top cap is glued to prevent air leakage and a tiny hole is drilled. It is very quiet. :)

inconsistent results from Hanna 774 phosphate tester.

The results are more consistent with new regents and dedicate cuvettes were used for each tests. It took a lilttle longer to mix the regent on the 3rd and 4th test and that could be the reason why last two tests were incosistent. I will try this again a couple of days later and, this time, I...

9/26/22 Fun lil project: Since my tank is skimmerless and does not have a lot of surface agitation, I built this "tiny HOB oxygen chamber" to provide more oxygen for fish (and maybe a micro amount of help to raise PH). Water inlet and outlet will need to be added by drilling one or two small...
