This first step of recovery from not having a tank is admitting you don't have a tank. You really have made amazing progress so far! Patrick

    Hydrogen Peroxide dipping

How do Acans and chalices do with this type of dip? I've read that they do quite poorly and was wondering if you (Jeremy or anyone else) had any first hand experiences? I just tried them on my zoas using 3% and diluting it using a 3 to 1 ratio. It worked great and the zoas are doing...

    patrickb's Anemone Propogation Tank

And then there were two: The anemones are both doing well after I cut them in half. One of the anemones has recovered much quicker than the other one so I may split that anemone sooner than the other one.

    patrickb's Anemone Propogation Tank

Here is an update on the Sunburst Anemone. Its grown quite a lot now from all the feeding I've done and its about the size of large grapefruit. I think its gonna be cutting time in about 2 weeks.

    Tyree Elegance Coral

I used water from Aquatic Collections to cut the coral--It was from their tank that held their live rock--I dont think that tank is connected to any tanks that hold live corals. My elegance is doing fine (better than ever in fact) so I think it has to do with JAR's tank or specific elegance...

    Tyree Elegance Coral

Very strange this is happening after 2 months. My elegance got that way when my phosphates got out of whack. I wouldn't give it more light though. Mine is 24 inches deep under 150 watt halides.

Gomer: Too funny of a comment. That was perfect. I'm getting some tissue now to wipe my tears cause I can't stop laughing. Phew. I walked away and am better now. Oh wait. No.....still laughing. Phew again. Man, that was good. I love this hobby. I haven't had a good...

    patrickb's Anemone Propogation Tank

I sold and cleared out all of my anemones to make room for the Sunburst. It arrived this morning at my wife's work and I immediately left my work, picked it up, and acclimated. It looks amazing in person--super bright orange (like a sunset monti) tentacles that turn yellow towards the end...

DBTC--Anemone--Green and Peach colored with super bright purple tips

Gonzo, you win my man. I hate Michigan as well, mostly because they talked a lot of trash about my man Grant Hill in the ESPN documentary that came out last week. Plus, that moment is just so unforgettable.
