Thank for the information. I was able to find the pumps on Amazon when I got home. Ordered two. You saved me from a lot of worrying . I haven't had a chance to read the LED article yet, but is high on my list.

Yesterday Mike Brown indentified what I though were pods as baby shrimp. I have 6 cleaner shrimp in the main display tank which are now producing babies and some are finding their way into my refugium. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so did the baby shrimp survive? Do I need to feed...

I started the process around Oct 20012 and learned from my mistake with my current Redsea max 250...

Turbo snails worked for me. They never stop eating. After they finish and your phosphate and nitrate is under contol the snails are easy to remove if they are causing trouble knocking over your corals.

In my opinion the people at aquatic collection are knowledgable and will make sure the fish you are buying are healthily and eating. At least that has been my experience. They also have very good prices. I would talk to them.
