Hi all,
I’m just curious what the consensus is locally reagarding using a QT for new fish, if there is one. I have a 20L that I bought to be used as a QT if needed, but I’m probably not going to use it for most of my fish. I’m going to be getting most of my fish from Jeff at LTK. He puts his...
I have google WiFi and the AP700 was able to see all 3 access points, but I still couldn’t get it to connect. Even tried unplugging 2 of the access points but still no luck.
Thanks for the info on the reset. I was finally able to get my iPad to connect directly to the light yesterday, but it required turning off my home WiFi. Not sure why that was causing the issue, but at least now I can use the light.
I can’t even connect directly to my AP700. I’ve given up for a while since my tank is cycling, but I’ll need to try again soon. I can get through the steps but then the light never shows up.
There's gotta be enough flow through the sump though, right? That's the part I'm worried about. My drain isn't working very hard at all and my pump is running at full power.
Is there any way to tell if my return pump is strong enough? Right now my main siphon line is only open about halfway, so I feel like it’s dialed back a lot. There doesn’t seem to be a ton of flow through my sump either. All my lines are 1 inch.
Lol. Yep. We paid the first round of aquarium bills the other day and it was not fun. But, since we're both doing it no one got the blame. I feel like we picked one of the most expensive ways to get into this hobby .
But on topic, seems like you're ready for a tank addition. o_O
Yeah. Both of them sound the same. I’m hoping they break in and quiet down. If not, I think my wife will throw them out the window. A large part of the reason for putting our sump in the garage was to reduce equipment noise, so these really stand out with no other equipment competing with them.
They’re dc powerheads and brand new. Maybe I’m just being picky, but I can hear these things across the room and over the tv, dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, etc... maybe they need time to break in?
It does, however, the baffle controls the water level for the entire sump. The divider between the 2 middle sections has slots cut into it, allowing water to flow freely through them. It’s one of the things I bought and didn’t necessarily have a good understanding of how it would function in...
