    saltwatersig's tank

My plan is to always keep a caulastria in my tank. It pulls back to the skeleton when Mg is low. I learned this in my tank journey before I started dosing anything. Thanks again for the tip Norm. There may be other conditions that cause this, but it will make me check my test kit at least...

    Underrated corals

Is pink stylo so common it never made it to DBTC, or did I miss it? I looked through all the pages recently to try to find folks who might have this coral. I did not see a chain.

Coral reefer’s 360 gal system. 225 display and frag tanks

You know Mike some people, who will remain nameless dare I say infamous, have sky high karma so they do not record coral they pass out in DBTC. I am the other type. I am just getting to the positive karma so I still record all the ones I pass out when I pass them out or within a week or so. This...

Thanks. It was fun to strike when I saw it. Cash and trade to make the deal, and worth it to me. Next is to tweek the flow a tad so it will level out and fluff all around.

Update shot Ian took today. Letting it grow for now. I just overfragged several coral, for my tank size, and sent some SPS into startle.

The coral for the most part bounced back after water change. In the photos the sunset and setosa still look a little shocked. The rocks slipped a little and these two are not in as much flow as they were before. Might be adjusting the current. Thanks for taking such clean photos Ian...

I hear they really take off once the frag puddles out. As an example I was a super fat baby. Very nice, proud Papas.

That tank doesn't look like it is missing you being gone to work all day one bit. Nice!

    Iron Man Litho

Lets make this one not so rare. The frag of green that John gave me in a chain has jumped in growth. It is a fun to watch it select a mouth to stuff food in. A great coral.

Reef Angel monitoring the tank temp tonight! With + or - 6 degree temp swings in a day, a thing of the past. I have to put the saw to use tomorrow and get the top built for the LED. They are programed and waiting. Dave helped get them connected last week, and Roberto tuned in the program...

    Pink Astreopora

We all do it trying to figure out the systems. 'Post new chain' is just to the left of 'new topic'. Select chain next time. And thanks!

    Pink Astreopora

I can change the spelling, but someone else will have to convert it to a chain post. Actually most anyone could select the edit button at the top of the page and change the spelling. I would love to give this a home. Montis grow great for me.

One no vote on GPS or clove polyps. Unless you plan to make topiary shaped frags and grows the GSP over forms. They grow too fast and the cloves can sprout other places in the tank. Get some monti, encrusting, plate or digi. Try caulastria too. It will tell you if your mag gets low. Grows...
