    F6553066 - air pump and LED's

Just saw the video about the LED lights. I already had seen it since I subscribe to "Reef Tutor". If you were to see his next video about setting up a frag tank he mentioned that it wasn't the LED's that we're killing his coral, but a critter that looks like a tiny star fish(he gave it's name ...

    Fish Trap

I need to catch a couple of fish(max. 6inches) and was wondering if anyone has a fish trap I could borrow. I live in Oakland. Mike Brown said he could pick it up in San Francico if this is where you live. I will also be at the Dec. BAR meeting. My name is Dick Flanagan. Any help will be appreciated.

    Baby shrimp

Yesterday Mike Brown indentified what I though were pods as baby shrimp. I have 6 cleaner shrimp in the main display tank which are now producing babies and some are finding their way into my refugium. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so did the baby shrimp survive? Do I need to feed...

    Dick's 150 gal mixed reef

Equipment: this is not so straight forward because is seems everyone has their own opinion about what is the best. When I could I went with what the majority agreed on and some retailers I trusted. Pumps: MP 40, seasweep with korola 1500 pump, (2) 250 gal. pumps placed on the bottom back corners...

hair algea! cant get rid of them

Turbo snails worked for me. They never stop eating. After they finish and your phosphate and nitrate is under contol the snails are easy to remove if they are causing trouble knocking over your corals.

    Is it weird that...

In my opinion the people at aquatic collection are knowledgable and will make sure the fish you are buying are healthily and eating. At least that has been my experience. They also have very good prices. I would talk to them.
