I would 100% install at least 2 vents for cross ventilation. The smart vents are excellent. Scheduled air exchange routines. RH or temp specific triggers... a must! I fell way behind on your journal. I'll need to go back further to see what caused wanting to get the tank into its own space...

Yeah, i had seen the gen2 release, but i think I was not reading closely enough that it was a 200w upgrade too. Lol

Have you attempted to calculate electricity? I've been tempted to run my watt meter to get an idea, but thankfully my solar panels help offset some of that.

You have calculated that for just your tank(s)? Or is that your overall bill?

If I don't calculate things, then it is scientifically proven to have more money available to continue spending on the hobby.

150W is the biggest one they have from what I've seen. But I'm keeping an eye on them as well for Black Friday.

They had a killer booth setup with various tanks at Reefapalooza. Definitely a worthy consideration from what I have seen.

I did test that out a couple times tonight. It never came close to the top of the sump thankfully. I will have to get that figured out after I get the new pump then. Thanks for the info. I'm just now learning about how to use a sump.

Thanks again for this Marcos. I forgot you posted it. I was curious last night about how to approach the setup for this. Definitely had it backwards in my head on how to use the chambers. I think I will be adding some live rocks or media bags to the return area as was suggested. I'm not too...
