    Fairy wrasse

As far as I can tell, it’s not a sand sleeper. I also have a melanurus wrasse, and that one definitely is. Happy to get this guy to you Mike.

    Fairy wrasse

I picked this guy up from @tankguy when he was taking his tank down a few months back. He's a great fish - active, eats anything (and a lot of it!), not aggressive, and has caused zero problems in my tank. The only thing is, now that I've had him for a while, I feel like he needs more room, like...

    very sad day

Sorry to hear Erin. I remember watching him cruise in that tank and swim right up to your hand when I visited your place a few years back.

Just wondering how members have been vaccinated?

The wife and I were both in group 1b, got our second doses at Moscone almost 3 weeks ago.

    Possibility of a tank upgrade

The electric stair lift is a great idea, had forgotten about those. I may even have a set of suction cups I bought from someone in the club when I moved my current tank, hopefully I can find them or schedule using the club’s set. So it sounds like this is a hurdle that can be cleared...

    Possibility of a tank upgrade

Exactly! Actually, not so much worried about support. The floors are poured concrete slabs under the hardwood, so I think should be able to hold the 1000-1500lb weight (rough guess).

    Possibility of a tank upgrade

So there's a chance I could be looking to move from my current 75g setup (36"x24"x20") to something 4' wide, either 120g or maybe 150g sometime this summer. The biggest obstacle I see to doing this is I live on the second floor of a loft style building that doesn't have an elevator. It's quite a...

    Free a paired Stripe Damsel

I’m willing to be fish delivery driver if @PeetaJai doesn’t have another reason to head to the east bay. These guys are basically my fault, and he did me a solid by agreeing to take them. Plus I think @ashburn2k may have a coral or 2 for sale I might be interested in... would next weekend...

    Bubble tip 'nem

In my case, have so many on a rock that a new split has to go looking for it’s own place to settle into.

    Bubble tip 'nem

I caught another one walking! It's a little small, maybe 3" open, from the same peach/rose/green group. Pickup at my place in SF/South of Market - priority given to someone who can pick it up soon.

    Fish regret .. evil damsel

I'm an outlier here, because I like damsels  How big is your QT tank? Territorial fish can get a little extra worked up in a small space with lots of tank mates. I had azure's with chromis for quite a while, and my large chromis held his own against them with no issue. Order of addition to...

Coral reefer’s 360 gal system. 225 display and frag tanks

Me and my 75g hear you and feel your pain;)

    Damsel in distress.. *help*

I’d let him heal up and then try to find a new home for him. Once the other 2 have paired up, it’s probably going to be difficult to keep all 3 together long term, even in a decent size tank.

    First Reefing adventure.. 65G AIO

I'm going to offer my unsolicited opinion on a part of your fish stock list ;) If it were me, I'd plan on 2 azure damsels and 2 neon dottybacks instead of 3 of the damsels and one dottyback. Both of those can usually be paired - get a large and small one, QT them together (make sure you have...

    Peach Ricordia

Here’s a terrible iPhone pic of the 2 I have for the dbtc. The back-right one has some sand somebody dumped on it, but is totally fine. Both look to still be single polyps, with 2 mouths.

    Peach Ricordia

I have a couple of nice size peach with green and turquoise highlights, ricordia (Florida I think?) I'd like to start a chain with. I bought the original mother polyp at one of the Coral Formers markets a couple of years back, but I don't recall the vendor. Please contribute 2 good size...

    fire shrimp spawned

When I had fire shrimp, one of them was almost always carrying eggs (same for my cleaners later). My impression was they go through a series of larval stages before settling, and that it’s difficult to have them survive in an aquarium. If possible, I‘d try to save some of those and see how they...

    DBTC- Bam Bam zoanthids

If you’re not sure, no worries, just wanted to see if it looked familiar. @Dorfman, I’m in SF, and need to prune mine back. Can make a couple of frags if you don’t mind waiting another week or 2 for them to heal up.
