    Bubble tip 'nem

So I’ve been communicating a lot via PM, which is great, but I need to keep track of it all somewhere, or I’m going to forget someone. Here’s my current list. If I’ve left anyone out, please let me know - I’m guessing I have at least a dozen, and I’m going to spend some time getting as many off...

    Bubble tip 'nem

It's a bit small, but I'm sure could be done if you keep things well filtered. My nem:gallon ratio has been way higher than 1:10.

    Bubble tip 'nem

Very good question, and was a difficult decision because I really like them. When they’re kept with stuff that they’re compatible with, they’re great. But like @H2OPlayar says, when they start spreading, if other stuff can’t fight back, they take over. I had a good run with mine with softies and...

    Bubble tip 'nem

I’ve decided my new tank is going to be bubble-tip free, so I’m looking to pass along all of my nems. I have three ready right now, and will have more over the next couple of weeks as I can get them free. Here’s a quick iPhone pic of the currently ready to go three, but they are all from the...

    Rolf’s 125

As of yesterday, I can officially start my build thread for this one. I was lucky enough to be on the lookout for a ~120-ish tank, when Bennet listed his for sale. With some heroic help from a couple of members of the club, got the tank and stand moved into my place 2 weeks ago. A 40g breeder...

    Fragging/Dipping workshop 6/5, 10a-12p

Apologies for the terrible pic through algae film covered acrylic, but if someone wants to stop by my place on the way to party, you’re welcome to pick up this big ‘ol yellow sinularia (nepthea?) to cut into a few pieces, and more importantly, practice getting mounted. Wish I could make it, but...

    Fiesta Vallarta Restaurant Tank

I’ll have some extra equipment (pumps, heaters, lights, etc) when I make it to the “clean up my mess phase” of setting up my system. In the meantime, I’ve got some mushrooms, softies and ‘nems you’re welcome too.

    40 gallon breeder

I can hold onto it for a little bit, if it will have a home. It's sitting in my garage right now, along with a bunch of other stuff (aka crap, depending on your point of view) that I hope my neighbors don't start complaining about...

    40 gallon breeder

One more quick bump for this, before I list it on CL. I know someone needs this... don't be shy!

    40 gallon breeder

I have a glass 40 gallon breeder, with acrylic baffles siliconed in it, free for pickup. Can be used for a sump as is, or take out the baffles with a razor blade, and it’s a tank. Was the sump of the system I just bought, but I’m replacing it with an acrylic sump. Preference given to supporting...

    Huge thanks

It’s 60”x24”x21 tall, so my math says about 125 gallons. I saw it once or twice when it was running, and it looked great. He had some really nice, big pieces growing.

    Huge thanks

Yep, I feel like it was a right place, right time situation, for me at least. Super stoked to have lucked into his setup, and to have help from a few folks in to club to get it into my place. Now I just need to not think about moving for a few more years ;)

    Help Fragging Toadstool

If you put a large frag plug or piece of rubble under the part that’s dropping, it’ll probably attach to it, separate from the original by itself and then you end up with a nice, mounted frag.

    Huge thanks

Just want to post a huge thank you to @Srt4eric, @bee505, and @Coral reefer for all of the help and patience getting this huge, heavy, gorgeous tank moved and up an unreasonable amount of stairs and into my apartment. You guys are awesome. I’ll be starting a journal for this beast soon.

Zoa Island taken over by Captain Jerks

This may not be a popular option, but I’ve had good luck using coral snips to gently peel offending zoas/palys off rock. I get them to close up, clip under one and gently am able to scrape underneath with the snips and pull quite a few off at once. I wear a pair of arm length gloves, have carbon...

    DBTC: Oregon mummy eye chalice

And the funny thing is, I actually participated in that DBTC - even put 2 frags back into it. I also was under the impression this is a slightly different piece. Received this as the oregon though (as I recall).

I just added Oregon mummy eye chalice to DBTC. There are 3 frag(s) available right now. This thread was automatically created by BARcode

The one weekend I’ll be out of town… may need to give frags to someone the weekend before to bring for me.
